Zum alten Wasserschlossl - Mühldorf

We ate here on our one night stay in Muhldorf am Inn. The restaurant is a converted water plant located in a small park near the centre of town. The main attraction is a large terrace for outdoor dining.The menu is quite upscale and the food turned out to be very enjoyable. The place was fully occupied on a Monday night, which is a sign of its quality and success.

I have never had a bad meal here. I have eaten both lunch and dinner here and both times everything was pretty much perfect. Then why only four stars? I would like to give 4.5, however this is not possible and there are a few things that are not perfect.The location is really nice and pretty much the only place one can go in muhldorf where one can sit outside and have a nice view.The service personal are all well trained and it is only small nuances which one notices that this is not a five starThe food is very good and as said I have never had a bad meal here.So what are the negative points1) there is a lunch menu for a certain price - however you HAVE to buy a drink to get this price - and this is a minimum of 3 euros on top ... I find this to be too much 2) the terrace is nice but although the furniture is not old - some are very 'run down' - wobbly and shabby 3) nuances in the service - drinks and food should only be served over the right shoulder for instance(nitpicking), some tables had a table cloth and others not, it took a while for the waitress to come to our table, the server didn't know which food was for which person... But as said this is nitpickingI would definitely recommend this - although slightly prices on the high side

Yes. Precisesly the place to be and go if you do not want to keep on eating schnitzels and pommes menu. I believe that public transport is a bit complicated. Location is great. Nice surroundings.Bit expensive for my standarts but I guess one time in a year won't hurt.

To enjoy the spot-prepared bark in the beautiful garden, which tastes after more. excellent health! here they have a good feeling, how hospitable all around, and not least the friendly employees contribute.

Elegant style, with very friendly and attentive staff. our food has tasted wonderful, was beautifully dressed and the ingredients were remarkable of high quality. they all had to eat at the table. the prices are slightly higher, but appropriate for the quality and the elevated environment.
