If you want to eat alone, you'll probably be out there at least... From the waitress I don't let myself be convinced of the offer of how to order goose for Christmas, and order a calf liver, which, however, looks very little appetizing on the plate visually...
We were there for lunch at four. Very friendly staff, an appealing menu, pleasant ambience. The food came fast, everyone tasted it. I had the tongue and I noticed very positively that the cook cut out the fat parts of the tongue. So it really tasted very good. The beer was a little scary and the toilet could handle a few new bright tiles. All in all, we had a nice time.
The Schlossgastätte Weesenstein even exceeded our high expectations. The food was lovingly prepared and qualitatively and tastefully simply top. The portions were more than sufficient and the meat was not saved. We had ordered Schnitzel Wiener Art, trout and a large salad with chicken breast. The self-made roasts (supplement) of vegetables were simply fantastic! Another highlight was the great lime-gray lemonade, a recommendation of the house. For this, I would leave any other drink, including cola and beer. Operation and boss are open and friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended, therefore 5 stars!
