Restoran Renney's Satay - Muar

Been in Muar for around a year but this is the first time came with family. Had traditional Muar breakfast of Mee Bandung, satay and nasi lemak. The mee Bandung and satay were great however a bit sweet for me. Satay was tender and sweet whereas the nasi lemak was great.

OMG The Mee Bandung is absolutely amazing, the sauce looks light but pack a body. The nasi empit melts in your mouth, sweet. The satay is absolutely flavourful but the peanut sauce, on its own nothing to shout about but combine it with chicken satay, very delicious. Recommended for a heavy breakfast.

The best satay for me has to be the flavourful marinated meat, and the kuah kacang. This place has both. Ordered 50 pieces of satay, plus drinks and mihun soto, total of RM91. Quite pricey for me. Probably because its located in the city part of Muar.

The Mee rebus and soto nasi's taste are quite dull for me but the mee bandung and satay are delicious. I like the satay a lot.
