Mt Carroll Cafe

Mt. Carroll is a town that is rich in historical interests, and the Cafe is a great place to get some lunch. Portions are good ones and the flavor of a small town can't be beat. Staff was friendly.

Mom and pop restaurant. Serving size are more than enough.

Great place with great food at great prices. Me and the family order a few times a month here and have yet to be dissatisfied.Decent selection of entrees and their sandwiches,wraps, and burgers are delicious. The fries are amazing, as well as the pickles. Friendly waitstaff and kitchen crew that always deliver the goods (extra sauces or anything have always been given).The chicken strips and J sauce are as good or better than any I've had in the area.They close up early (7pm) and offer pickup and dine in. They place is immaculately clean and inviting.5

Like visiting your favorite Aunt's house for a relaxing lunch. They don't have everything but what they have is well prepared.
