The Villa Agave - Mt Aukum

What an absolute delight is this country oasis! Incredibly special and serene, the villa itself is a work of architectural beauty, and the surrounding area is lovingly maintained. The interior is like entering a very cool museum…every piece of furniture, every design touch, from the Saltillo tiles to the original, clever artwork to the flowers is lovingly created and presented. The owner has not missed a beat, and her attention to detail to ensure comfort for her guests is a blessing. My suite was so comfortable, and the view was so lovely, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfasts are organic, delicious, and served either in the pretty dining room or outside on the equally pretty porch overlooking the garden. I’m delighted to know about Villa Agave. I’ll be returning often.

No joke, no exaggeration it's a quiet, beautiful, comfortable place with an amazing host, gorgeous rooms, comfy bed, delicious breakfast, tequila tasting (if that's your jam) and bountiful nature surrounding you. You’ll have no choice but to relax in this beautiful setting. Beautifully set in nature, flowers, and trees everywhere inside it’s a cozy and warm feeling in a good size place Bonnie, the host was amazing.

Bonnie is a fabulous hostess! Her beautiful home is the perfect retreat to relax in. My husband had to get up early for work Bonnie had a 3 course organic breakfast with fresh hot French Press coffee waiting for him every morning. After I dropped him off I was greeted with a fantastic breakfast coffee too! She is so friendly and sweet and always making our stay perfect. She treated us to a fun tequila tasting! Can’t wait to try her tequila once it is made! Save me a couple bottles Bonnie. Our room was fabulous, the bed was so comfortable the bathroom was so spacious and the view was breathtaking!Rooms: The Anejo Suite was so luxurious! The bed was so comfortable. There were robes for us to use. The bathroom was so spacious with a wonderful tub and a shower with dual shower heads. We can’t wait to go backNearby activities: She arranged for me to have a massage in her onsite Spa. The massage was truly the best I have ever had!!Food drinks: Bonnie served a champagne organic breakfast with French Press coffee. Her tequila tasting was also organic and we had so much fun exploring which type of tequila we liked the most.Noteworthy details: It would be so fun to have a family retreat and rent out the entire house The grounds are breathtaking, I wish I had more time to explore. Bonnie is also very conscious about doing everything that is good for the environment. Which I think is so important.

We had our wedding at the Villa Agave and could not have been happier with the experience. Bonnie is the best host anyone could ask for.
