Powell's Roadside Market - Moyock

Every single time I come past here, I stop. The cantaloupe from here is out of this world. If given the opportunity, I would eat it on the daily.

So overpriced! I wanted to buy so many things especially the peaches and tomatoes but couldn't justify spending nearly $60 for a basket of peaches and a basket of tomatoes. Disappointing as the stuff looked pretty good.

Really good coffee! We stopped randomly looking for produce and were pleasantly surprised by the coffee shop! The coffee was actually quite good we are coffee snobs and this was a very nice surprise to find coffee that was drinkable without loads of sugar/extras.

I love all three of the big farm markets on the way to OBX, but Powell's is my favorite. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have is choice. Fresh, local produce and lots of it the way a farm market is supposed to be.

Best cantalope I've ever had! Corn and watermelon were also fantastic. Super friendly young lady at the checkout.
