Corte Velha - Moura

We live in the Alentejo, but had never eaten in Amareleja. Decided to treat some friends to a meal there today, and fairly randomly chose Corte Velha. So glad we did! We were treated so well and everything we ate was wonderful. I had steak, and it was done to perfection. Recommended wine was also excellent. We will definitely be going back, se Deus quiser. One tip: make sure you book ahead.

Excellent typical Portuguese food in a fine restaurant with beautiful decoration and calm atmosphere. We really appreciated the service and Mr. Pedro,the owner, did a great job explaining the whole menu and he was always attentive in every detail! A final remark for the nice musical sellection if you like Portuguese music, namely the best fado singers.
