Peet's Coffee - Mountain View

The baristas are great and know how to make a coffee exactly the right way and provide quality service. boren make a difference and they use good, but how to balance the milk content is as important and they do it very well. they have delicious baked and also love their chia pudding (runs quickly over the weekend). it is easy from the main lift to castro, but that also means that they can easily find parking relatiw.

This coffee shop in Mountain View is fantastic, offering a variety of unique drinks. I particularly love their golden turmeric options. The ambiance is modern and inviting. They have a wide selection of whole bean coffee with different roasts to choose from.

Love this Peet's location in downtown Mountain View. Aside from the great people who work here and make you feel welcome, the space itself is very open and airy and inviting. You have room to enjoy your coffee with either your laptop or with friends.

10/5/22 visited this location after 2 years and absolutely loved Noelle's help in selecting the beans to brew coffee at home. Think I am going to stop by this location more often! Peet's has great beans everywhere, just that Noelle works at this location! Peet's Havana Cappuccino tastes awesome if prepared right some Barista's do it really well, others do an average job of preparing it. I loved it at their location by El Camino and Castro, but the one in downtown Castro just tasted average.

Conveniently located if you are in downtown MV. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Inside smells musty at best, and tabletops are not cleaned. Do know there is a steady stream of non-service dogs allowed indoors at this location. (Due to hygiene most stores don't allow animals inside food establishments. Coffee varies greatly as does the temperature of their water for tea. Have had decent cappucinos at 3 pm, to very bitter, burning hot cappucinos, at 10 am. If employees cleaned the floors and tables from time to time, this could be a nice community hang-out.
