Contribuiți la feedbackGot the Megabyte roll and really liked it.The tempura was nicely done and pretty crisp, and the tuna and salmon on top were very decent quality. Portion size was nice; price — I assume a roll is just roughly this price in the bay(? . The individual pieces were pretty big IMO.Next time I’ll probably come and order something else; I’m interested in their sashimi options now.
You get what you pay for. Two stars for presentation and tempura. Contrary to majority of the reviews here (main reason why I tried this place), the fish was not fresh. I had to drown them in soy sauce to mask over the smell. Wasabi was very weak too. I think their cooked food might be much better quality judging by how good the tempura was. Service was so so if you’re not a regular. Most of the orders seemed to be takeout. Overall nothing to rave about, but if you live in the area and want some affordable Japanese food within walking distance, I can see it being a solid option.
Love that the sushi chef does some extra steps for me.Food: 5/5
Great find in the area for excellent sushi. The location was low key and relaxing, parking was easy, and the food was exceptional. All the waitstaff we interacted with were friendly and informative. I'll definitely visit again if I am back in the area.
Pricey but delicious! Ordered the gourmet sushi platter $38.99) and after tips and all it came out to $50. Suggested tip on the machine is based on original price tax, so it’s a little bit deceptive of how much one should tip, but it seems like lots of machines on the market do that these days so it’s not a fault of the customer establishment. The service was top notch and the sashimi felt fresh. A bit more expensive than sushi tomi downtown, but overall good experience!
