California Barbecue - Mountain View

I have had CABBQ cater several family events and I have always been extremely satisfied not only with their delicious food, but with their exemplary service as well! Their salmon is excellent and they have an incredible BBQ chicken menu, but their true hidden gem is their clam chowder. Yes, clam chowder...which is award winning from what the owner says and I believe it after tasting it. It is rich and creamy, slightly peppery and just the right amount of ocean flavor -ie not too fishy like a lot of bad chowders are. It is hardy and delicious, and I am sad I moved from the bay area. I haven't found another caterer here (Denver with the same level of service or skill at preparing BBQ upscale or backyard...did I mention their chowder? It's fantastic! ;

Their tri-tip is incredible! Great flavor with the spices and smoke. My wife really loved their ginger soy salmon. My daughter I swear was hiding the grilled pork ribs in her backpack for later, she ate so many.
