I ordered at the bar and discovered that the food is prepared next door. This wouldn't have been a problem, but after waiting 45 minutes, I decided to check out the kitchen and dining area. I was shocked by what I saw: three dogs were freely roaming in and out of the kitchen, the floors were dirty, the tables were unkempt, the bathroom was in poor condition, and the owners and cook were quite rude. Seeing the dogs everywhere almost made me cancel my order, but since I was starving, I decided to wait a little longer. In the end, the food was nothing special. I felt this place caters mainly to locals who don’t mind having dogs lounging next to them while they eat!

The pizza is absolutely amazing, and the pulled pork sandwiches are simply unforgettable!

This is undoubtedly the best pizza in the world. Our family goes camping in this area almost every year, and while we like to say it’s to escape and appreciate nature, the truth is we come primarily for the pizza and to chat with the owners. Even though our camping trip just a week ago was marred by the sweltering heat, reconnecting with the owners and enjoying that delicious pizza made it all worthwhile. All the stress and frustration just faded away, and that’s the magic of amazing pizza and great company!

This restaurant is not located in Idaho City; it's in Featherville, ID. Additionally, it is no longer called Connie's as it has changed ownership, but it's still good!
