Contribuiți la feedbackI've been here since they were a small tuck shop running on the back of an Asian food business in glen waverley. the hard fan! hands down best fried chicken in melbourne.
Been going here gorb6 years and never been let down.I think they have calmed their spice level tho which I'm not happy about but it's still somewhat spicy just could be more. But that won't stop me coming back.Try the bibimbap with stone pot. It's second to none best bibimbap I've ever had. Xxxxxx
Prices are a highlight, so cheap and affordable as opposed to other chains. Keeping in mind the chicken pieces are much smaller than other places, the seasoning makes up for that! The korean stew was decent also, however I didn't like the kimchi pancake; too soggy for my liking. Food did come out quickly, but we kept having to ask for basic utensils, like bowls, cups and even the menu.
We thoroughly enjoy their Korean Chicken with sweet lava sauce. It’s not your normal full crumbed deep fried chicken but its texture and flavour are perfect for our liking. Highly recommend to anyone craving quality Korean style chicken!
Been a loyal customer since they had their shop in glen Waverley. Food has always been great over the last few years when they opened in pinewood, and we come regularly at least 3-4 times a year.Today is my last day I will go there unfortunately, the waiter took our order, we ordered many dishes between 2 people, one of which was the cave salt chicken and red cave salt. When it came out the red cave salt seemed a little saucy than what it previously looked like, so we had a bite just in case they had changed the recipe, it was the lava one instead. We let another waitress know about this, she said it was fine and will let manager know. The waiter that initially came and took our order said “you already ate it, so if you would like to order another red cave salt I can order it”.I explained that we only took a bite as we didn’t know if they had changed the recipe, so they agreed to rectify the problem. When it came down to the bill the waiter had added the new red cave salt as a seperate order which meant we had to pay more. It’s not about the money but in my opinion the waiter could’ve handled the situation better instead of pushing the blame onto the customer. The army stew also tasted different from what it used to be.Overall I would suggest changing staff or management so another situation like this doesn’t reoccur, not to mention the table behind us also had the incorrect order being given out to them too.Goodbye cavemen 1961 days.
