Wendy's - Mount Vernon

I have gone here pretty regularly as they are blocks away from where I live. I will say where it is new, that is about the only good thing I can say. I order the same thing every time 2-3 times a week. I need to eat out less) and more often than not they have forgotten an item or made the item incorrectly. They have multiple times misheard my order and made me pay for multiple big dollar items instead of the value menu items I have ordered. I have tried to be verypatient as I understand they are new, and it can be a thankless job. However each time I have tried to mention the mistakes the manager there tried to make it sound like it was my fault, and that the newer workers there couldn?t have messedup. After taking a loss on the cost of my food several times I finally asked them to fix the situation. Since it was 8:00 pm they made me walk through the drive through I travel there on foot) and get the items they forgot at the windowwhile cars were there. After this awkward exchange in front of a strangers car window they didn?t even offer any type of consolation for making me walk there again because of their mistake medium fry ordered could have offered large)personally I don?t write reviews ever, but this really frustrated me as I was always kind and understanding while the manager woman always made it seem like I was at fault, or that I was trying to ?swindle? them out of anything. Take yourbusiness elsewhere unless you want a sub par customer service and fast food experience.

New location right off Interstate 5 in Mount Vernon. If you?re coming from the south, you have to do a u-turn a block down to get into the parking lot. Clean location and prompt service. They seem to still be getting it 100% together after opening, but so is most everywhere. I ordered the seasonal, Strawberry grilled chicken salad. It came ?fresh? lettuce and vegetables weren?t wilted and had a good crunch. Chicken was warm tasty. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

This is a brand new Wendy's. It's big and sparkly clean. The employees were courteous and i got my food pronto. What's not to like? Good grub at a decent price. This Wendy's gets a thumbs up!

Try the Cheese Baked Potato and Chili , together. itd awesome.
