The Porterhouse - Mount Vernon

The PH was our place before the Kovid. Now that they're back open, we had a visit. We were not disappointed. With new furniture, a fresh menu and all feast, everything looked great. You have a good selection of brews and lemons for your drinking pleasure. As far as food is concerned, they have always nailed their fish so that I have chosen their bride and garlic burgers. I would rather prefer garlic because I love it, but what it served was still great and a good balance for the “normal” customer. (That's right, I'm far from normal!! I'm glad this little spot is open again and has the quality I expect. Oh, just a little note, they no longer have the dart board and games, but they replaced it with super comfortable seats and additional tables!

Excellent Nitro Stout, with a wide selection of craft beers. Food was pretty good, though I was a little disappointed in the rib tips, not much meat and the ends were solid bones. The grilled salmon salad and sweet potatories were excellent. Beautiful surroundings and friendly service I would definitely recommend

This is my lady and goes to the water hole. It is a tavern so that no children as its 21 but always makes for an amazing, cozy atmosphere. A great place to pick up or do business about a great beer, apple wine or wine! Not to mention the food here is delicious and made with crafts! Look for their Brewers Nights or Holiday Food Specials. The staff will take care of you.

Excellent service, great menu, good food, fun atmosphere, good gluten-free options. Lammburger with Mango Chutney and Feta cheese. Sweet potato fries and a sriracha aioli diving sauce. Definitely delicious!

HIGHLY recommend the crab cakes, clam chowder fish n’ chips. Very cute, cozy space. Plus, great beer options on tap. Kim was an awesome waitress.
