Although Ann was closed for the day yet baking, she still allowed me to purchase my love for her shortbread cookies. Of course I buy one of beach flavor!!

One of my favorite places in Mt Vernon. I always buy shortbread to give as gifts, my coworkers love it. The owner is so nice to chat with.

Once inside, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Ann, who gave us an informative overview of the various items in the shop, including local artwork, books, and, of course, their famous shortbread. Ann captivated us with her stories about Mount Vernon and encouraged us to come back for the events and festivals that showcase her diverse offerings. As we sampled the delicious shortbread, we discovered ten different varieties to choose from, each one tempting us to buy more. I held back on making a purchase for now, but I will definitely be returning in the future!

I received a cookie from this place at work and I can't wait to go buy more! It's a shortbread chocolate chip cookie, and I never would have imagined it could taste this delicious!
