Ichiban Sushi Hibachi - Mount Vernon

The food at this restaurant is hit or miss. I really wanted to love this place because it has the potential to be great, but the execution fell short. The crab rangoon was tasty, and the fried rice was good but a bit overcooked and dry. The General Tso's chicken and sesame chicken were both dry as well. Other dishes may be good, and the overall dining experience was decent.

Beautiful service, great eating, great times. simply housed a family meeting of 16 at 1 big hibachi grill. had a great experience.

My wife and I came at 11:15 and there were already 8 people at the grill. because the two grills were full, they had 3), we would have to weigh 45 minutes to get a seat. so they come to 8 people, then they are finished. odd business model only to have a cook and only to serve 8 people. anyway, we left. I wish I could've checked some food.

My husband said their food always hits the spot! Can’t get better than that! Hot saki! Very good! Excellent sushi always fresh.
