The Alcove Lounge - Mount Vernon

The Alcove is a combination of old elegance combined with excellent food. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! Service was superb. I would encourage everyone to visit, you will not be disappointed!

What a gem! The drive from Columbus was worth it! What a lovely place. Very nice menu and prices were reasonable. We both enjoyed our entrees and setprvice was on point. We felt very taken care of. Will definitely go again and bring others with us.

We just love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the ambiance is perfect.

We were unfortunately seated near the hostess station, Bench seat on one side and chair on the other sort of thing. We asked for alternative seating but they couldn't wouldn't do it. We both had steak and potatos with salad, the food was pretty good, steak may have been a little undercooked, but still good. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but Mt. Vernon is limited on nice places to eat, so this is one of the 2 options for a decent dining experience. I couldn't give it 5 stars, but will go again, insisting on better seating.

As always, our pre-Valentine's Day dinner at The Alcove was amazing! The service, drinks, food, ambiance was all exactly as we expect every time we eat here. Eating out at The Alcove is a special treat for us and we are never disappointed. I especially recommend the smoked cocktails! Thank you all so much for making our evening so special just by doing what you do.
