Baitong Laos & Thai Cuisine

Was a little hard to find however totally worth it. I had Chicken Yellow Curry and Coconut rice and oh my it was so good. Made me feel like I was back in Thailand. Customer service was also fantastic!

Star Cannot express the freshness and deliciousness of Baitong. Most amazing Thai food especially my favourite dish Pad Thai Chicken. Definitely will visit again :

This was THE most flavoursome Thai Resturant I've been to. HIGHLY recommended. Hor Mok Fish was great as was the Soft Shell Crab with basil.

Poor service. Can't tell you what the food is like because after waiting 1.5 hours for our order we left. As we left the head waitress tried to charge us for someone else's dinner and it was only when the people at that table said it was their order would she believe me when I said we hadn't received any food yet. Not sure how she missed us sitting there with no food for that long. Will stick with My's from now on.

There aren't many places you can eat Laotian. Unfortunately I only remember the last time I ate at this restaurant, when I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try soft shell crab. Yep, it's out of my comfort zone. I also got Hor Mok Bamboo, and there's only so much of that you can eat. It's definitely something to order when you're sharing dishes. I also have good memories of earlier visits to this renovated location, which used to be My's Restaurant and now has a mesmerising feature wall and a friendly waiter (and owner? who sold South East Asian groceries, vegetables and herbs for many years.
