Captain D's - Mount Sterling

This restaurant is the best in the city! Their fish and chips and funnel cake sticks are absolutely delicious. My personal favorite is the country-style fish, but I also really enjoy the original broken fish. I highly recommend it!

It’s really hard to beat Captain D’s when their game is on point. I’ve not really ever had a bad experience at all.

The food was great as usally, the only issue I had was the lady at the window, very short with her answers and not friendly at all. The last time is was there the last week there was a different lady at the window who was very friendly and you wanted to go back just because of the smile and attitude.

Fresh and consistently on point. It always maintains a clean interior as well!

The food here is consistently good and fresh, but unfortunately, we had an issue with our order. We received the wrong side dish, and when we politely brought it to the attention of the staff member, her demeanor changed from professional to somewhat defensive. It was odd; she seemed unable to acknowledge her mistake for twenty seconds. After a brief moment of panic, she handed us a small box with just six fries and looked at us as though we were to blame for the mix-up. We hadn’t even touched the incorrect side and offered to return it to show that we weren't trying to take advantage of the situation. It was quite frustrating.
