Station 34 - Mount Prospect

I saw this place when at a client lunch and immediately wanted to check it out. The service is very good, and we went on a busy Friday night. The menu is something I want to revisit. We had one tavern and one Detroit style pizza. There was not much wait on our food. It came out faster than waiting for the table! Plus they had a good band starting up as we ate too.Definitely will be back.

Why do I have to pay a convenience fee to order food online and pick it up myself? I think its more of an inconvenience for me and a conviene for the employees since they are not the ones having to answer the phone and take my order payment.Great food and price for pizza on Wednesday 's. Just think the convenience fee is ridiculous when the customer is doing all the work for placing the order.

Great atmosphere for watching sports with countless TV’s on every wall, very clean bright establishment where the ceiling must be 2 stories high, a very good verity of quality food the staff is always friendly (we need a place like this in Deerfield).. Parking: In the front of Station 34 there is approximately 15 to 20 parking spaces I believe there’s more parking behind this sports bar restaurant.

I came here because I saw that they served Detroit Style Pizza, which I 've been exploring a lot of lately. To the point, the pizza has great potential. The big upside is that the way the pizza holds up is really good; solid 'frame ' all around. The main reservation I have is the way the sauce is done in a standard pizza way, but at the same time, adds no flavor to the top. It 's almost like eating a really well-baked cardboard with cheese. However, I took the leftovers home, reheated it, and topped it off with some tomato paste, sea salt, and crushed red pepper; instant improvement. The atmosphere is definitely a frantic bar vibe with several sports games on, so it will get animated in there. However, it 's a pretty clean and spacious environment.If you get the pizza, ask for salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and maybe request some extra tomato sauce on the top (actual D-Style). Otherwise, not a bad option at all.
