Wood Grain Wood-fired Pizza

I’ve visited this restaurant several times during my business trips, and I’ve always enjoyed it. The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I was seated quickly on both occasions, even without a reservation. The Brussels sprouts are a must-try! Food: 5/5

This restaurant is a great spot for a late-night meal. I enjoyed some delicious peel-and-eat shrimp along with a lovely Margherita pizza. It's slightly off the beaten path, but definitely worth the effort to find!

As my wife is throwing up in the bathroom from eating a spoiled oyster, I am writing this review. We are locals and have always enjoyed all of Patrick 's restaurants, but I was appalled at my experience tonight at Wood Grain!! We were served spoiled oysters. Yes, mistakes happen and after 40 yrs of eating oysters, you will come across a bad oyster. But when I confront guy running the oyster station argues with me while making the point oysters have a shelve life 30 days ....I become VERY concerned! When the same guy then informs me that the harvest tag shows expired oysters my wife just ate....I REALLY become concerned. Then when the manager Hillary begrudgingly pushes back and say we made a decision to not charge you for the oysters , as my wife is gagging in the bathroom, and thats it.......yes, I take exception. Patrick, you are better than this and I cant imagine you find this acceptable as an owner. This is NOT Dominos or a fast food intended experience, nor is this the level of service or way to handle an issue for a dining establishment like the ones you 've created. DHEC must be made aware and my only hope in writing this is that others don 't experience it, nor have their wife in the background throwing up sick as a dog while their husband writes reviews. You are better than this !
