Mccann's Irish Pub - Mount Pleasant

Fantastic pub! I always love stopping by for a refreshing drink and some tasty food. I tried the Beverage and Burger Special, and it was the best! Support local businesses!

I ordered a chip and a shepherd's pie over the phone for pickup. The service was friendly and professional, and my food was ready at the time I requested. The meal was hot and freshly prepared. I look forward to returning to try more items from their menu.

McGanns, one of two co owned in the Mount Pleasant area, is located next to Brickyard Plantation on 17. Friday night features live music at McGanns, and it starts 7ish PM, instead of 9 or 10 pm so you can have music during dinner. Tonight, the one-man music of Steel City Steve was great. The food and draft beer selection are excellent. We had the tasty Irish Stew, from an expansive Irish food selection, (I previously enjoyed the Fish Chips) and a Murphy's Stout, then a Smithwicks. It's really hard to find restaurants with Stouts and Porters on tap! This is our third visit to McGanns since moving to Mount Pleasant mid 2019. We'll be back.
