Lowes Foods Of Mount Pleasant

I submitted a feedback request on their website asking for a phone call, but I haven't received any response, so here I am writing this Google review. The manager's behavior was in response to my feedback about my experience during my visit. I had mentioned that she seemed visibly annoyed and rolled her eyes at me when I asked for a copy of my receipt, as the self-checkout was not printing properly. I had asked the self-checkout lead cashier for a receipt, and she took me to the customer service counter, assuring me that the customer service manager (CSM) would assist me shortly. When the CSM finally came over, I showed her my receipt, and she acknowledged that the register tape wasn’t working. I asked if I could get a printed copy, and that's when things went downhill. Instead of a simple apology, she gave me an expressionless, dismissive look and didn't say a word as she took my receipt and walked over to the self-checkout area. I awkwardly stood there, holding up the line, while she instructed the cashier on what to do. She even asked the cashier to check my bags to see what I had purchased, commenting on my order size in a condescending manner. I apologized and explained that the self-checkout was the only line open besides a long line at the traditional checkout. I actually had a small order that fit into a reusable grocery bag, aside from two 2-liter sodas and a case of water. When I expressed that I felt she was being rude, she retorted, "No, I am not. Sorry you feel that way. I have ten other things to do and didn't have to help you; I'm helping the cashier." I asked to speak with the store manager, and she smirked while claiming to be the manager, then laughed at me. When I inquired if she was the actual store manager, she said no. I asked for the manager's name and number, and she dismissively told me it was on the receipt and that I should call him, stating she didn't care. Lowes Foods, if this is the level of subpar customer service you're willing to associate with your brand, then you've clearly succeeded. I'm uncertain about your claim of caring, especially since no one has reached out to discuss my concerns, which I was hoping for. As someone who frequents your store multiple times a week and spends a significant amount of money there, this experience is extremely disappointing.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! It was my first time trying it since we moved from Washington State a couple of weeks ago. There were a couple of neat things that locals might already know: you can shop while sipping on drinks, as they offer draft beer and wine—what a great idea! Instead of traditional checkout lanes, they have street names, which is a fun twist. The place was exceptionally clean, and the staff was very friendly!

This is undoubtedly the best grocery store in town. Their selection and customer service are unmatched. I've noticed that Lowes has an outstanding variety of beer, fresh produce, and meats. It's the only grocery store nearby where I can find unique items like dragon fruit, tri-tip steak, and a milkshake IPA any day of the week. They also feature many local South Carolina products. The customer service is excellent as well. I casually noted in a survey that I would like to see a particular soda, and a week later, the store manager called to inform me that they now have it available.

I really LOVE this store! The produce is incredibly fresh, and everything else is, too. I wish there was a Lowes near me in Georgia, but every time I visit Charleston, I make sure to stop by Lowes. It's my favorite!

I absolutely love this place! The store is impeccably clean inside, and you can find everything you need here. If you're not in the mood to cook, you can easily grab your dinner to go. The employees are extremely friendly and welcoming.
