Soul Boul - Mount Maunganui

I had a truly delicious "Greenpeace" smoothie bowl. They offer a variety of vegan smoothies and bowls, along with coffee—I tried a "heel" (all good milk), which was quite good as well. There are no indoor seating options; all seating is outside, but there is a cover since it was a cool 12 degrees this morning! This is an update to the previous review from September 17, 2022.

The coffee here is delicious—possibly the best I've ever had on the mountain—and the smoothie bowls are equally delightful. Although the bowls may seem small and a bit pricey, they are quite filling. The slag bowl is a standout! They also have a fantastic selection of vegan dishes.

The restaurant offers large smoothie bowls and a wide variety of vegan smoothie options (although there is one smoothie bowl with honey, which can be omitted). The coffee is slightly pricey but delicious and fair trade! I tried the mango smoothie bowl, and it was so delicious that I returned the next day to try another flavor! It's perfect for a hot day.

It was good! Service was nice and everything was vegan aside from the little selection of cabinet food. Great amount of food but the organic acai portion does seem quite little for $18. However I know organic food is more expensive so I’m sure many will be happy to pay. Overall good experience :
