George Cafe - Mount Maunganui

My all time favourite vegan cafe right near the beach in Mt Maunganui . Definitely recommend if you are after the best coffee and vegan treats. The cinnamon buns are a must, garlic spinach and cheese scones are delicious and WOW I have never ever had a ginger slice like the scrumptious ones they make at this cafe.

George Cafe has beautiful food, plenty of choice both savoury and sweet. Plus vegetarian. Lots of people chatting while I grabbed a takeout coffee. Easy parking outside too.

Love this spot! Great, easy to reach location near Omanu beach, the staff here are all super friendly, and the coffee ALWAYS delivers. I’m yet to dive into the food menu but I’ve heard it’s equally good. Keep up the good work team! Hamish Dorrington Kakapo Business Sales

On visit from nz to Melbourne and stumbled across this fantastic little cafe. Best service i think ive ever got. Great banter so funny was the owner. Smoothie was amazing im now making them at home in nz. Bacon and eggs yummy. Id so go back when in Melbourne again.

This was our go to cafe when in the Mount, lush food, blts on the most yummy bread, the cakes were to die for and the ladies were really friendly and chatty. Weve come back to the UK now and hope its there if we ever return
