We had a four course dinner waiting at the Print Hall Dining Room, an upmarket restaurant hidden behind the Print Hall bar (ground floor).
Great place for a special occasion, we had the 4 courses for $150 the attention to detail is was amazing, shame the fine dining restaurant us gone now but
I took my partner and 2 boys here for dinner. We ordered the premium pork ribs $57 for the boys (apparently serve for 2) the serving size was defenatally not enough for two and the very small sides of chips and salad were not a double serve. The ribs they enjoyed but 10 pork ribs is by far not a double serve. My partner and I had the seafood platter for two $55 and I was quite disgusted to get a plastic bag dumped on the table then shaken up and served as was in a bag which looked to us as if it had been microwaved and sent out. The portion was small also. The decor is cheap fish and chip style restaurant which with the price of the dishes not fitting at all. This is one restaurant I would not visit again.
Had a pre theatre meal here last night, nice welcome, nice, pleasant, efficient staff, good novelty value, with plastic bibs and gloves, it's gonna get messy, the soft shell crab sliders were very tasty, yabbys served in a plastic bag,( ok, more novelty value) but brought to the table in a bowl, and then taken out of the bowl and placed on the table, juice and oil all over the table, had one napkin, but when asked for wet wipes or something similar, was told there's a wash basin around the corner, customers should only have to leave the table if they wish to, finger bowls? Yabbys did taste good, and the massive pork rack, maybe 2 kg were very tasty, just a bit of refinement needed here.
