Now its awful! Bad service and bland food. Stay away.

Good value, calzone a favourite. fast service. loud Italian atmosphere.

I have been to restaurant with previous owners and recently with the new, i have currently been asked to run the front of house, as yes the staff were having some difficulty running it the owner is a hard working individual and has great ideas in how he is going to transform the restaurant, I on the other hand will be bringing back the professionalism and quality customer service that it is lacking as the food is fantastic and is only going to get better. So to all those who have given a bad review maybe you should put in some suggestions at your visit rather than be critical out to ruin someone lively hood. I hope to see you all back there for a meal so that we can reintroduce you to a great place to dine.

We have been here before and it was an awesome time .... Not this time!!! We should have picked up on the fact that the place was empty not to go in , but we were hungary and we had eaten here before. The Waiters spoke limited english and the wrong drink and food order was brought twice. The agrlic bread and Bruchetta were good. Our mains were bad, I had chicken and it was eddible but had no taste and was not worth the $32. A friend had the Rissotto and only had a few mouthfulls as it was bad. And the other friend had to send back her oysters as several of them were BAD . and we had to hunt down our own cultlery as we were left for about 15 mins and could not get anyones attention to bring us any. When paying the bill, our order was written on a scrap bit of paper and took the Owner?? about 10 mins to find the calculator to total it up, i dont think it was correct, he asked us about our experience and we told him!! We would not return !! AT ALL

Although i would recommend this restaurant to other people.. it's due to the food, not the service. i booked a table for around 17 people for a wednesday night for my 24th birthday. we walked in with a case of wine which did not go down well with a man who looked to be the owner or manager. his face told a story of how unimpressed he was. and for what reason? As far as i can remember, ordering food and garlic bread was not a hassel, but as soon as we wanted water it was another story. you would think they have duty of care to provide water when there is a case of wine involved. one of my friends asked for tap water and the waiter brought a jug, filled her glass and took the jug away. another friend asked the same and was told she had to buy a bottle if she wanted water. she said she didn't mind, but the water wasn't brought to her for 15 minutes. i didn't realise water was gold! like i said, the meals were great and we enjoyed ourselves. but upon leaving, the man (possible manager) and a waiter stood there with their arms folded and glared at us all as we left. happy freaking birthday to me! we weren't making excessive noise, we weren't drunk, we all ordered meals, some people bought alcohol from them, we were paying for corkage. the bill was probably around the $400 mark and they treated us like we were not worthy or having us there was an inconvenience. fail caffe martinos, fail.
