The Turk - Mount Kisco

The food is decent and the owner is a really nice person who makes you feel welcome. Brought my parents here and they really enjoyed it. I am gluten free and enjoyed the falafels, and the baba ganoush with gluten-free pita. The salad was reallydelicious too. My parents are picky.. they had some kind of shaved meat dishes that they really liked, and my mom loved theTurkish coffee at the end!

Gluten free pita!? Definitely! They have great food, okay tea (due to the cups they use), the service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was perfect. Especially when they started playing one of the guitars they had on their walls. Great experience,amazing food and totally worth your time.

Must try! I drove over an hour to try this place and it was well worth the drive. The stuffed grape leaves were yummy. The lamb shawarma dish and the kefta platter were flavorful, tender, and delicious. The owner was so welcoming, generous, and kind. Thewaiter was very attentive and nice too. The dessert was amazing, we tried the Knefe, can't wait to have it again. Definitelywill be back soon.

Prices are def expensive but was worth every penny. They are really kind and their food is excellent. Only thing I can say is go see for yourself. I recommend the beet spread for sure. The fried calamari was great too but portion was small. I would alsorecommend the mixed grill to taste every delightful meat they got on there. We finished off our night with Kunafa and let metell you, wow. The owner even played a little bit of a turkish melody on the “ud” (i think its called that) to conclude ourstay. Overall excellent experience. Was very please and will definitely go there again.

The service was great and we had big portions the food was good. The falafel had too many spices for my taste buds but my friends did not mind. A must try the Turkish wine and the artichoke humus.
