Local Joe’s Cafe - Mount Juliet

Never received banana pudding as ordered, instead got some dried up cake that was not fit to eat! I enjoy eating here but will not order dessert again

I have eaten here twice in the last week. The food is delicious and the staff is AMAZING!! They go above and beyond to please their customers. I highly recommend!!

First time visiting, I ordered to go! The worker bee was very friendly and helpful! I got the cabbage, collards and sausage with peppers minus the rice. Hands down southern cooking and trust me I know southern food!! Y?all should go! Friendly atmosphere!

Had a wonderful lunch at Local Joe?s Café in Mt Juliet. This is a standard cafeteria style Meat 2 (or 3 if you want) but I must say the people who work there make it special and vibrant. I decided on the ham (although all of the meats looked delicious) with mashed potatoes and peas for the sides and a slice of red velvet cake. The ham was delicious with a slight smoky/salty flavor and the potatoes and peas were good. The red velvet cake was moist and sooo good?the desserts come from a local bakery. Overall this is a solid Meat 2 and the service was exceptional. From getting you drinks to clearing the tables, everyone was so friendly and helpful. When you have good food and exceptional people?you have a great combination for a successful place.

Family owned. Super friendly place. Great service and yummy food. Stopped by for lunch with my family and 2 kids. It was awesome. They even came out after we sat down to eat with a tray of cookies straight out of the oven.. Went around and offered them to everyone. Staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there. We cant wait to come back.
