Eagle Rock Cafe - Mount Judea

The Eagle Rock Cafe may not be upscale, but the interior is bright and impeccably clean. The staff is cheerful and friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the catfish, and it was among the best I've ever had—generous portions, very reasonable prices, and absolutely delicious. The crinkle-cut french fries, though they came from a bag, were well-cooked and served piping hot. As for the hushpuppies, I couldn't tell if they were homemade, but they were tasty. My meal also included a small serving of pickled green tomatoes, which I would have loved to have more of; I'm sure I could have requested extra if I wanted. My dining companion chose the chicken fried steak and couldn't stop praising it. Although nothing is pre-cooked, meaning that the wait could be longer during busy times, it's definitely worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend the Eagle Rock Cafe—a true gem!
