Cameron Estate Inn - Mount Joy

I give cameron estate 3 stars just because eating while a bit expensive is very good. the service and the ambiente were however far below the same for such a thing.

It is mainly a bed breakfast and a historical old being, and I believe that they are probably more of a high-time event facility. they're going up.

My family sat on Saturday 5th May, in the restaurant for a final dinner. very beautiful location and beautiful old being. we seemed to be in the future.

My husband and I were married at Cameron estates and all I can say is AMAZING. Cathi and Dana were so great to work with. They were incredibly helpful with the planning and so accommodating. They are quick to get back to you and amazing at communicating. The grounds and inn are so beautiful and well maintained. We received more compliments then I can count on the food. Our wedding day was a 10/10 amazing experience and I would recommend Cameron to everyone! Rooms: Our room was beautiful and had a great view. It was clean and the bed was comfy. Food drinks: Amazing food and bar service. Everything was perfect.

I attended a wedding here, and I strongly recommend seeking other venues for all couples in the area. The staff had no idea how to facilitate a wedding on multiple levels, I am aware that the venue changed owners over the last two years, but the level of incompetence was unacceptable. For starters, there were no bridal attendants or Maitre De to facilitate the day, when a staff member was asked if they were the person in charge they laughed and were unable to point in the correct staff member for coordination. Staff were also unable to correctly run table service, including knocking over a full platter of mushroom soup (when nobody was obstructing the area) onto guests and the flower girl. The largest concern was the lack of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the venue. The glass and table ware throughout were dirty, guests were given glasses with visible red lipstick marks straight from the cleaning tub, and when guests pointed out that the glassware had a lipstick marks on it to the bartender the bartender attempted to pour the alcohol from the dirty glass into the clean glass. We now have reports of guests developing gastrointestinal issues after attending this event. There was no maintenance of the bathrooms throughout the event, multiple stalls became unusable due to lack of janitorial support and no visible ways of guests receiving more toilet paper. I would strongly recommend the venue explore new means of staff training and customer service. Dollar for dollar, I encourage all couples to remove this venue from their list to avoid having your wedding dubbed the worst one in your family.
