Daily Grind - Mount Holly

Amazing Macarons! Have bought these for friends and family who find them irresistible. Better than Dana's Bakery in NYC (here are too tacky and are SO crisp and delectable that it's hard to stay away. I will definitely start working if it allows me to have my weekly Asalt and Buttery favorites:

Although I'm new to the Macarons road, I know quality and great customer service when I see it. I visited two shops with great reviews on yelp. My first stop was Asalt Buttery. I went and was immediately greeted by two girls behind the counter with warm smiles. I explained that I was new to Mascarons and wanted to taste every taste. She quickly grabbed a box and began to put her in and asked if I wanted the full dozen. I'm sure I wanted to bring some for everyone. When checking out, the woman behind the counter made sure to give me her business card. You also mentioned how I could ask a pickup order or if I had any questions. In any case, I made myself welcome and that they appreciate customers, new and recurring customers. (Not to mention a private parking is always key to the convenience of your customers bonus star for this!! Once I got home, I couldn't wait to try one of every bakery. There was only something about the macaron of Asalt Buttery that she would choose from the other business, which would definitely me choose her every day : Every mascaron I tried out from Asalt Buttery melts in my mouth and let my tongue scream with joy!! Even though they only have 6 flavors available at the time I went (about lunchtime, because the others were already sold out and they were currently in the process to get more available, everyone I tried was absolutely amazing. Rose was amazing. The lemon tasted like a Lemon Bar (one of my Favs! and the blood orange tantalized. I have already made recommendations to some friends and to my friend who regularly deals with high-end clients. I will spread the word until every last person I know was told about this bakery and their Macarons at least once tried. Five stars from me!

I've tried at least 30 or more different Macarons... and I don't mean 30 different bakers flavorings. Asalt and Buttery is my ABSOLUTE favorite. The intensity in the taste... the perfect and subtle Outter crunch followed by a melt-in-your mouth interior that is somehow dense and... I mean, I'm not kidding when I say PERFECTION. The one ingredient I think they have nailed in contrast to others is 100% pure love every time baking. My favorites include: coconut, birthday cake, pistachio, coffee. Nobody makes them better. The only sad thing is that they're a little far from me now. My Bf is so amazing (and he is a HUGE fan himself that he is for me on special occasions or if he is in the neighborhood: Follow his foodie account MyInnerFatKidIs Out when interested in delicious food around NJ and NY. Asalt and Buttery will be there.

Try the Macaroons, Scones and Mandel Croissants today and everything was amazing. I will definitely return!!

Everything taste great. Prices a little above normal. Street parking in the area. Small shop easy to miss if your driving.
