Contribuiți la feedbackWonderful ambience, food, drinks, prices and service. It 's an oasis in inner suburbia along the Mount Hawthorn cafe ' strip. I see the 'don 't go there ' review popped up at the top as I came to write this. That was 2015, under very different management then, which could be hit and miss. The current management and staff can 't do enough to make your experience pleasantly worth going to Casa Blanca again and again.
The majority of recent reviews are no longer relevant as the restaurant has changed ownership and name since the onset of Covid-19. I frequently visit the establishment with my friends to enjoy coffee or brunch while sitting under the surrounding trees near the koi pond or on the shaded terrace. During the Christmas season, they offered delightful little cakes adorned with reindeer and Santa decorations. The service is fast and the staff members are friendly. It is my preferred spot for coffee and brunch.
I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who were very attentive. Loved the menu, the food was tasty and well priced. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Definitely recommend Casa Blanca. Will be taking my friends back there.
A group of girlfriends all caught up for lunch At the cafe. I ordered a virgin mojito which cost $10 and within three sips was finished so I personally wouldn’t recommend purchasing a mocktail! It was small! The food itself was good. The pumpkin salad with prawns added looked divine. The service was friendly. The homewares shop next door had some good items and the toilets were very clean. The vibe of the overall place was nice. I’d still recommend this place!
The menu was on the pricier side compared to other places, but I expected the quality of the food to justify the cost. Unfortunately, my Avocado mash was underwhelming - the avocado spread was thin and lacked flavor, with no sign of feta cheese as advertised. The egg was cooked well, with a runny yolk. When inquiring about the coffee with an extra shot, the response was to visually inspect the color of the coffee to determine which one was stronger, which seemed unprofessional. The mushrooms were served cold, which was unappetizing. Additionally, water was served in plastic cups, which was disappointing given the attention to detail in the restaurant's aesthetic. Overall, the food and service did not live up to the charming atmosphere of the restaurant.
