Presto Eatery - Mount Gambier

Centrally located, this place has an alluring vibe and is perfect for a Sunday breakfast, especially as it opens at 08:30am. The menu is vast and has options for all, from vegan to gluten free. Mesmerising from outside and aesthetically pleasing from inside, this cafe is well designed, beautifully decorated, has fancy seating area and is aptly lighted. The coffee blend is fine, as we ordered latte, cappuccino, and mocha and we found it pretty impressive. We also ordered a DIY juice, and it was a fresh cold pressed juice. For mains we ordered avocado smash on sourdough, big breakfast and cheesy corn fritters. The food presentation is impeccable and the taste too is delicious. This is a chic place that makes sure to leave a mark with their great quality and fresh ingredients.

Eating is nice, but the customer service was terrible today. I asked a waitress that she could quickly wipe the table for us, as there were dirty serviettes and crumbs on the table. Before we sat and the waitress complained to say she had already done it and rolled her eyes. I and my client are very uneasy to make when she sneaks and complains. I could not believe that the bad level of the service I had received and in a phase I felt like in a karens diner. I had said something to the kiosk nice waitress who tried to explain how unpleasant I felt, but the waitress who was very rude stood right next to the kiosk. it was such a disappointing experience that presto had just won a reward for their food. if only her eating was as good as her customer service.

Beautiful place! the place is very nice and cozy, all in wood, perfect for a Christmas Eve with snow. the service was accurate, friendly staff and varied and very good food. recommended!

Presto restaurant has a beautiful and brand new design. It is one of the best Cafe in Mount Gambier for breakfast. Also, their coffee are so tasty. Unfortunately, the only negative point was on 25th Sep 2022 which one of the staff was a bit misbehave.We requested to have our coffee in mug and she brought it In a clear glass, requested to have in mug and the answer was so offensive. She said: this how we serve Latte and it is traditional way in Australia (sound racism)!!!!I don’t take this to the restaurant as everyone can have a bad day, however, staff need to take a day off if needed.Thanks
