Madisons Pub - Mount Clemens

My friend and I arrived around 8 last night. Always had such great service and such a great time but not last night. We ordered our drinks and waited 30 minutes to order our food,another 30 minutes to find out our order hadn 't been placed. We asked for our bill extremely irritated and they waived that expense. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional and if we come back our experience will be reiterated only to prove a point,that being we were overlooked and it will never happen again.

This Place is a vibe for me when the entertainment is there which is the only time I attend to this pub. While with my family one night I decided to order a side of fries. Our waitress ASHLEY (red head) had a horrible attitude and tone when I asked about what was on the fries? Her responses were quick and nonchalant! Turned out, hidden valley ranch seasoning was on the fries that has buttermilk in it. (After doing my research because I’m vegan) cause Ashley had no knowledge. Therefore I let her know what was in it for future references if anyones else asks, ASHLEY did not acknowledge it and brushed me off as if I was bothering her. Oh brought out ranch that no one asked for (it’s not vegan) but me being black I guess that’s what she assumed! Her attitude made me never want to go back. I dont care about the fries at that point because the services was unpleasant while with my family. They were disturbed by her behavior as well! I’ll be sure to not sit a the table she works on. Thank you to the “manager” that brought my new batch of fries with a better attitude cause ASHLEY knew she was not welcome back to our table with that nasty attitude! Thanks!

I had the worst experience when I walked into this restaurant. After waiting 15 minutes, the bartender told us we had to go to the bar if we wanted anything. While at the bar, I noticed the bartender and workers talking about us and regulars staring at us. I even saw one of the bartenders making offensive gestures, including Nazi salutes. When we tried to leave, the bartender made us uncomfortable by loudly asking if we had paid our tab, even though we had already done so. This was by far the worst service and most unpleasant environment I have ever experienced. I will never return.

Friendly, comfortable, relaxing in downtown Taverne with good food. Great management.
