Chonillos Taqueria - Mount Angel

The complimentary chips and salsa were quite good, and I absolutely loved their carne asada tacos. They remind me a bit of the street tacos you can find in LA, more so than many places in Woodburn. My mother thought the chicken burrito could use some improvement; she prefers the style served at Luis in Woodburn, where the chicken is coated in a sauce. Personally, I'm not a fan of shredded chicken in a burrito like they used, and I agree that it could use more flavor. I believe the woman who took my order was the owner. She was excellent and mentioned that she has a taco truck in Silverton. The food was served very quickly. I definitely want to return. I’m starving! Oh, and I heard they serve breakfast all day, so I hope to try it soon.

The food here is very fresh and the space is clean. They offer daily specials, and it was so good that I came back the next day to try more items from the menu. They also have a food truck location in Silverton.
