Waffle House - Mount Airy

I've always had great breakfasts and excellent service at this Waffle House. They make it just the way you want it when you let them know your preferences. I highly recommend the All-Star Breakfast or the Cheese Steak Breakfast Bowl.

My first impressions weren't ideal when one of the waiters insisted that I sit at the high bar since I was alone. However, I’ve had both hips replaced and have a bad back, so I explained that I can't sit in those high chairs. Fortunately, another staff member quickly offered me a seat at the low bar instead. From that point on, my waiter was fantastic—very friendly and attentive. My food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. I was pleasantly surprised considering how busy the place was. Overall, it turned out to be one of my best experiences at a Waffle House.

I wish we had noticed our waiter's name tag. We visited around 3 AM, and she was wonderful. The food was delicious, and she was very helpful and friendly.

Excellent service tonight from waitress Yvonne and cook Seire that I could add were very clean and professional. This was a big change from the last couple of times that we were there and a few employees worked to make sure we made a mistake... but not tonight. I don't mind paying the bill and leaving a decent tip instead of the normal.... Thanks ladies for a job well done!

Tent to Mount Airfield at 1130 a.m. after work. Service was really good and friendly, food was excellent (for all types of seats, not only WH). Also extremely affordable! The smaller complaint was that it was a bit to order. If you're on the road I77 3. Shift and hunger, don't miss!
