The Loaded Goat - Mount Airy

After visiting the Andy Griffith Museum, we were feeling hungry and eager to try some local cuisine. The woman working in the gift shop suggested we try the Loaded Goat, and we decided to give it a shot. The staff was friendly, the menu had a good variety of options, and the food was incredibly delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of burgers, salads, sandwiches, and more. They have plenty of options for vegetarians, and their burgers are huge. The service is excellent, and everything is made from scratch to order.

The food was fantastic. We were so eager to try it that we drove all the way from Kentucky! Cagney, our waitress, was lovely and efficient. My son had the mushroom burger with fries, my husband had the green tomato BLT with sweet potato fries, and I had "The Goat" burger with fries. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My husband and I even shared our sandwiches so we could taste each other's, and they were all delicious. For dessert, we tried the goat cheese cake with berries, which was also amazing. The berries really added a nice touch. It was definitely worth the drive. We regretted not being able to stay for the live music performance.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. they were very busy and treated it well with great service and good eating. I'll be back soon!

Delicious burgers. Recommend the BBQ bacon. Good sweet potato fries. Our server was Tanya; great service.
