Los Amigos Taqueria - Mount Airy

First time getting dinner here and it was delicious. Got the Tacos... but looking forward to going back to try all the other items. I wasn't aware of how it worked. But thankfully, there was another lady waiting on her food and she told me I needed to go inside the market to pay for my food. Once inside the market, I was able to buy more candies so we had that as a dessert after the tacos. Looks very clean and the health department scored at high.

Oh my this is the best bite I've had in a long time. Keep in mind I am Mexican and a foodie so to have found this authentic place is a major score for me. My husband is not a big fan of Mexican food (he's American) but he's now a convert. In fact the entire time we were visiting the area he insisted we come almost every day. The guy that takes our order was super friendly. The place was very clean. And the tacos here are world class!

Food is great. But they sold us 3 aguas de horchata that were definitely watered down, they taste bad and the water was warm, no ice cubes. I understand it's hot but they didn't have to sell us that **** ‍

I had some pretty awesome tacos here at Los Amigos, I was passing by and saw this little taco trailer beside a green shed with the words Tacos and Tortas painted in big letters on the side and knew I had to wheel in and check this little jewel out. There was a steady line of folks getting food here, It sits in the corner of the parking lot of a caniceria, you place your order at the trailer and then take your ticket inside the carniceria to pay, they stamp your ticket paid then you go back to the trailer to get your food. I had the al pastor and barbacoa tacos, both were awesome with great flavors. Each taco is 2 tortillas with a healthy amount of whatever protein you choose topped with onion and cilantro with lime wedges, a grilled pepper and onion on the side along with their red green sauces to bring the heat. My 4 glorious tacos were $7, the little taco trailer is definitely worth checking out.

Al pastor taco was very good. The taste of the pork was outstanding. Couldn 't give 5 stars because they don 't make their own tortillas. This place serves the real deal Mexican food. Not hard shell, ground beef tacos with cheddar cheese. Give it a try.
