So, we came to visit Mount Airy for a couple days and was in search of a good place to eat. I had read the iffy at best reviews and it kept us from eating there on day one. On day two we decided to give it a try. I warned my family that we may be going into a bad situation but to be open minded and give it a try. Ordered door dash at 8pm tonight. Ordered 2 round up steak burgers and a tumbleweed onion. Order was finally dropped off at 9:58 and this is what we received. One plate has burger and no bun and the other plate has bun but no burger. Everything was cold and we are directly across the street from the restaurant. (cold outside and didn't want to go back out) of course the restaurant is now closed.

Open tables tho wait maybe 10 minutes. Daughter asked for wings they were out. I asked for 12oz steak also they were out. Asked what the southern corn was like... the waitress responded idk never had it overall the food was subpar the steak looked like a freezer steak and was well done instead of medium. Save your coin and go to a small business. Horrible food untrained servers. I?m very sorry to say. We thought it was going to be good. Seemed like friendly folks. But at the end of the neither food nor service was worth the money. Didn?t take but a few bites of each of the three items we ordered. Disappointed to say the least.

With the local food fair not meeting expectations I was pleasantly surprised stopping here. Everything was beyond expectations except few items. The fries were unseasoned which is something I hate.
