El Dorado - Motril

Nice friendly staff. You can have a hot stone and cook your own meat to your liking.Reasonably prices

Although a quite simple restaurant near the port of Motril, we were surprised to be offered a well hanged piece of entrecote to cook a la piedra , i.e. on a hot individual stone slate. Lovely sauces and nice house wine, left us saying that we must come again very soom.

Good service and fast seating on a somewhat busy street corner. The Dorado salad was tasty and comprised of lettuce and tomatoes, ham, shredded cheese and tuna. Tasty but probably not worth the 12.50 Euro. There are very few restaurants around and hence a bit of a captive audience, especially since it is close to the port ferry. This is a solid 3.5 5 restaurant and should not be ignored. Truth be told, this is a beef steaks restaurant. They might be great but I did not try any.

Excellent service! Bilingual and friendly waitresses and waiters. The mejillones were a bit overcooked but so delicious. They didnt have the Dorada left but in subsitute we chose Rapé and it was a pleasant surprise.

Great place. Took a dinner with a home salad and bottle of wine. As a compliment small dish of meat on hot stone. Got lot of pleasure.
