Dalziel Park Golf Club - Motherwell

This is our local for food and drink but the menu hasn’t changed for so long we have decided it will be a while before we return. No specials offered, not even advised of what the soup was!! My meal was fine but hard to go wrong with fish n chips in my books. My husband said his was bland. Took ages to be served and we were in at 6 pm when it was empty. At 7.30 decided to leave as no one had come to offer desert or even another drink. First time ever we have left without leaving a tip !! Thought there was a new head chef but nothing has changed

Booked for Sunday dinner based on good reviews. What a disappointment it turned out to be, while the Yorkshire pudding was impressive, there were only 2 small deep fried potatoes (not roast potatoes) a dollop of bland mashed potatoes, tinned peas and carrots, overcooked beef and no separate gravy for the Yorkshire pudding. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else! It would appear to be one of these restaurants where all the meals are bought in and thrown in a microwave. And the chefs don't know how to cook properly.

Marvelous wedding venue, lovely suite in a lovely setting with extensive gardens. Plenty of outdoor seating areas which was a bonus during the heatwave. Food at the wedding meal was delicious and plenty of it. Staff very helpful and attentive. Great range of drink available. Made the whole wedding experience very memorable. Overall, a great day !

This place is almost on my doorstep and I don't use it enough. We had a large family gathering recently and they accommodated us all in a great part of the restaurant where we were able to move about our group without annoying anyone else. The staff were extremely helpful from Chloe when I originally booked to the two lovely girls who served us that evening. I'm so sorry I didn't get their names but they are an absolute credit to your business and they made our night with their prompt and friendly service. Food was delicious and hot which is a bit thing when there's so many people! Setting is very nice only thing I had was that the smoking area was just outside our seating area and we had the doors slightly open as it was warm. We had a few small babies with us otherwise the smoke wouldn't have bothered us. All in all it was a great night. Service: 5 Location: 5

Booked Sunday dinner. As usual service was friendly and reasonably fast. Food is well presented and excellent value for money. Only fault was crackling with roast pork was simply not crisp. They had run out of katsu banana for last course, but had alternative which turned out very good. We have not stayed in hotel so cannot comment on rooms.
