The service, on both visits, was commendable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food is reasonably priced. The main drawback for me was the live music. On both occasions, it was so loud that having a conversation with my dining companions was nearly impossible, which really took away from the evening. The space is quite confined for such loud music; while I appreciate the atmosphere that live music brings, it shouldn't overpower the guests. On a positive note, the venue and decor are interesting, and I particularly enjoy the open fireplaces.

The food was incredible, although it was a bit cold when it arrived. But that's understandable; things happen sometimes. The service, on the other hand, was outstanding, and I really appreciated that Searles is dog-friendly on the patio! They even provided a water bowl for my pup, which was a nice touch. We'll definitely be returning!

I ordered fish and chips for R145 as a takeaway and was very disappointed with the quality and portion sizes. When I asked the manager if he believed the food we received was acceptable, he told me that it was the standard. I have had good experiences here in the past, but it seems that the quality of their food has unfortunately declined.

We had pizza and pasta, and both were delicious. The service was quick and friendly, thanks to our attentive waiter. The kids had a great time in the play area as well.
