Wendy's - Moscow

Kayla is such a sweet employee! I visited on July 12, 2023, and I just got the strawberry shake—definitely a win, yum yum!

We used to enjoy dining at Wendy's, but our last three visits have been disappointing. The food has consistently been below average—cold items and missing orders. On our most recent visit, we ordered breakfast chicken sandwiches, and to our dismay, the chicken was undercooked. It was not only pink but also cold and slimy. It was quite an unpleasant experience. The staff handled the situation well and issued a refund, which we appreciated. However, we’re concerned about the lack of food preparation standards. Because of this experience, we won’t be returning. Food safety, especially regarding raw chicken, is a serious matter.

What I appreciate about Wendy's is that their staff seems well-trained to handle special requests with the same professionalism as standard orders. I've never heard a Wendy's employee say, "So, you want a burger... without a bun? Really?" Besides Culver's and Chick-fil-A, who offer gluten-free buns, Wendy's stands out as a fantastic fast-food choice for those avoiding gluten. Their fries are generally safe, but the gluten risk depends on your level of intolerance, as they use the same oil for all items and the fries can be contaminated during cooking.

Wendy's is currently one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Their $5 meal deals are ideal for my family, offering us a variety of choices at a great price. The quality is good, and the options are excellent.

I just got home with my drive-thru order, and while I usually don't mind small mistakes, I'm pretty frustrated today, December 19, 2022. Did the chili I received come from yesterday's leftovers and just get reheated? Half of my order consisted of three large chilies, and the other half included biggie bags and a Baconator fry. The fry and bags were fine, but the chilies were in regular-sized cups, cold, and watery, which is really unappetizing. The thought of going back to the store, knowing it’s understaffed with underpaid college students who likely don’t want to be there, just adds to the hassle and makes me wary of driving in these dangerous winter conditions. I don’t usually complain and am generally quite patient during drive-thru visits, but this experience has truly left me feeling disappointed.
