The floors felt sticky throughout, and there were caution signs indicating wet floors, suggesting they had just been mopped. Unfortunately, the bathroom only had cold water available for handwashing. We ordered three iced teas and a glass of milk. The waitress brought some rolls to our table, but we quickly noticed that a fly was constantly hovering over them and landing on the bread. It was quite distracting, and I found myself having to swat the fly away repeatedly. While placing our orders, the waitress cautioned my husband against selecting a particular dish because the bacon was "old and nasty." Given this warning, we decided not to order any food and opted to just pay for our drinks and leave to find another restaurant. We were charged $9.61 for the three iced teas and one milk, which we hardly touched, aside from the milk.
I went on a girls' trip this weekend from Jersey to LMU, and this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. Our waitress, Shelly (or Shelby), was fantastic. Despite being ready to give birth at any moment, she skillfully juggled serving tables. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the rolls were warm and buttery. My friend and I both ordered the salmon, and I truly wish we had a restaurant like this back home. It's the perfect spot for a quick meal if you're staying in one of the hotels on the strip.
This is the most underrated lunch spot in Morristown. The food is excellent and the prices are great. The service can be inconsistent, but I've only had one letdown – the brown gravy was far too lumpy and thick, almost like pudding, which was quite odd. I’ve never experienced that before. However, I’ll definitely return, just without the gravy next time, without a doubt!
I'm a fan of the old Western ambiance, not crowded, no blaring music. Decent food and decent prices.
Service was slow especially for a Thursday! Wasn't busy but still took over ten minutes to even get a waitress for our drink order. When the food arrived, the steak looked thin and had lots of gristle. Mac and cheese was good and broccoli was good. Wouldn't recommend this place especially for the price you pay. 4 oz worth of steak 5 oz worth of fat/gristle.
