Contribuiți la feedbackAs a local resident, I'm upset to see the direction this place has gone. I used to love it here, but I sense new management has taken over in the past little while, and it feels like they're now going after Red Rocks Amphitheatre tourists for their .The guacamole 13 is already insane, but at least it used to be a legit portion size. Now it's a few tablespoons full. It was full of chunks of unripe, inedible avocados too.I got an 18 burrito straight off the mentu that, I kid you not, only had canned, UNSEASONED black beans inside. No garlic, no spices, no pico. For 3.50 you can add vegetables. The audacity ?You can tell the kitchen cares about the food, but the portioning and stingy ingredients really ruin the experience. The servers are usually pretty friendly though.Let's call this place what it is now. A dive bar with exorbitant food prices, designed to get that tourist money.Expect to pay 50 for two mains and guac. Before tip and tax, no drinks, no appies, and on a dirty table. Oh, and don't get the premix house margarita. The magic of the rooftop patio, and live music every now and then has unfortunately worn off. There are so many other places even along that little strip to go.
Roof top patio, margaritas with corana adddd, petite chile rellenos, and then you add the red rocks vibe with the small town atmosphere of Morrison, you can't have a better afternoon. You are in Morrison though, pay for your parking and dont go over the speed limit no matter what you do. Morrison local government is so corrupt that they will fine you for sneezing out the left nostril on Tuesday when you should be sneezing out the right on a wednesday.
A friend and I stopped in yesterday after a hike. We ordered margs and nachos. We found hairs in our nachos and the margs definitely didn't taste like a $30 margarita. WAY over priced for gross food and weak margs. The server did her best, which was fine.Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!!
We stopped on here while walking through Morrison. We parked and went in a few different places. This one was very disappointing. We ordered house margaritas and they were terrible, just taste like mix, nothing done to it. Our friends ordered the special margarita which was a piña colada margarita, and they liked it. We had already eaten earlier so decided to split their killer queso which was not in fact killer. It was ok in flavor but so thick your chip could stand up in it. we 're from Texas so we eat mostly Tex Mex food and drink lots of margaritas, and this place was a let down
The famous cheese dip wasn 't very good, very thick. Pineapple Coconut Magarita was SO GOOD! Taste like summertime, even though it 's May in Colorado but feel like February. We are from Texas though, so the cold weather we are not used to, and we are picky with our cheese dip.
