Madeleine Marie's - Morgantown

My first experience dining in (or rather, outside) was just as wonderful as the many takeout meals I've enjoyed in the past. I always suggest trying one of the specials. This time, I had the crab cakes with homemade remoulade, served with fries and a house salad featuring a creamy radish dressing. When the server brought me my salad, he remembered I had requested no onions and kindly offered to remake it. I simply asked him to remove the onions, and that was perfectly fine. It was the best salad I've had at any restaurant in town, and I still can't figure out why I can't replicate it at home. I’m hopeless in the kitchen, and I wish the chefs would mentor me. I've lived here for a few years and have introduced several long-time locals to this place. Anyone who hasn't tried it is truly missing out on a fantastic hometown gem that this community is lucky to have.

Charming little local restaurant. The pierogies and dessert are great on Polish night. It's a BYOB establishment.

My mom and I spent the night in Morgantown and chose to have dinner here. We ordered takeout, and it was absolutely delicious. We tried the Alfredo pasta, pesto pasta, and garlic bread. The portions were quite generous, so I would recommend sharing one dish between two people.
