Beach Cafe - MORETON ISLAND

Pizzas here are good!! The seafood basket & tangadog was not so good. Tangadog was not a normal "hotdog" frankfurt or even a sausage? Not really sure what meat it was to be honest! Seafood basket only had 2 calamari, 2 fake scallops & 2 small whiting strips & chips ($23). Chips were rather cold...

We had a couple of mainly lunches from here on our recent stay. The salad wasn't great; way too much capsicum and onion for my liking, but my husband had the pizza and loved it!!! The fish tacos were also good!! I can see that other reviewers have said it was expensive but I didn't find it so. I often have to eat lunch out on the road for work and thought it was very comparable.

We got a 4 Cheese & Garlic Pizza and it was certainly that! Yummo! Crispy base and PLENTY of Garlic. We took it home with us on the ferry after the Dolphin Feeding and it really hit the spot. The price was reasonable for an Island outlet ($21), the quality was good and the service was friendly.The cafe closed after lunch sometime and didn't re-open til 5.30pm. It would be great to see it open perhaps 10am - 10pm for those unexpected munchie moments!

Portions are huge and the food is ok given the price. I wouldn't want to eat here every night but choice is limited in the resort being honest. One portion of chips I had wasn't cooked very well but otherwise food was ok. Our teenage daughter liked the pizza and that would be VFM with a family to feed

As the only coffee shop you do not have much choice. The coffee is passable even though we tried on four separate occasions it did not improve. Mildly overpriced but had a good range of snack foods, hot and cold drinks and ice creams.
