Contribuiți la feedbackI’m a tough cookie I admit, but this restaurant takes the cake! First, you enter a castle-like building and feel that you go back in time 500 years. The cement blocks. The paintings. The candle wax and so much more add to the wild ambiance. It was a bit late so we were just about the only ones in the restaurant. (Daytime is packed I’m told) Our waiter, Dulce, was as professional as they come. We were in a large room near the street and she stayed by the doorway attending to our every need. She knew the menu like her hand as well. She is as good as they get! The hostess was super friendly as well. (Dec 3rd) A shame I discovered this place on my last night. I would have come every day being a very picky Vegan. The whole bill came out to 550 pesos (no alcohol ordered). Two soups and 2 entrees. It would have been $200 US if it was the states. Even more in a big city. Can’t say enough good words about the place!! Howard S.
We enjoyed dinner here one evening: one vegan/vegetarian and three omnivores. Vegan items are marked on the menu, but there also are a number of other unmarked items suitable for vegetarians. Ingredients are listed with dish descriptions, making it easy to choose. Our surroundings were beautiful: old stone walls and floors, gorgeous art pieces, quirky melted candle formations, etc. Our waiter was polite and friendly, but he made a few minor mistakes with our orders. Service was quite slow, especially since the restaurant was mostly empty. Nonetheless, the food was very good. Portions were adequate. A plate of small rolls and banana bread accompanied our meals. Prices were a bit higher than some other restaurants but not expensive by any means.
