We had a very pleasant lunch here today. Shared a very tasty salmon appetizer and had a very good Mexican white wine It rained hard while we were there so it was a spectacular place to be enjoying the view out of the weather. The wonderful gardens are enough reason to go but the view of the city is breathtaking This is our second visit.
An unparalleled view. Comfortable, old-shoe, and perfect for those who're not looking for adventure. Food quality is good, and so is the service. There are no surprises here. You'll be fed well, but it just isn't exciting (not that that's a bad thing, mind you).
This is the restaurant at the Villa San Jose Hotel Suites. It is located about 15-20 minutes away from the center of town by car. Because the hotel and the restaurant are on a hill overlooking the city, the views from the grounds and the restaurant are marvelous. My wife and I live in Morelia and we had heard others speak about how much they enjoyed going to this restaurant for Sunday brunch. We finally had a chance to try it ourselves a couple of weeks ago. We're glad we did. They offer a large buffet style breakfast with a variety of hot and cold entrees. They also have a cook station where they were preparing eggs to order as well as quesadillas. The service was attentive with prompt refills of drinks, and removal of empty plates. Seating is available both indoors and outside, and all the tables have a stunning view over Morelia. There is also a good-sized parking lot at the hotel if you drive to the restaurant.
Excelente servicio, muy buena comida y tragos a precio decente , pero sobre todo una magnifica vista de la ciudad.
